Free for up to 3 members · no card · import from Notion
How import works
Three steps from Notion to Rodeo
Step 1
Export from Notion
In Notion, go to Settings → Export and choose Markdown & CSV. Notion gives you a .zip file.
Step 2
Open the import menu in Rodeo
At the bottom of the sidebar, click the Import button, then choose Notion.
Step 3
Pick the .zip
Select the file as it is, without unzipping it. Rodeo reads it in your browser, uploads the images, then adds everything to your workspace in one go.
What comes across
- Pages, with sub-pages kept under their parent page
- Page text and formatting from the Markdown export
- Databases from each CSV, with each row's page text
- Column types worked out from the values: text, number, checkbox, select, multi-select or date
- Links between pages, turned into page mentions
- Images in PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP, up to 10 MB each
What stays in Notion
- Database views, filters and sorts. Set up the views you need after import.
- Live relations, rollups and formulas. Their columns arrive as the values Notion exported.
- Comments, page icons and sharing settings
- Attached files other than images. If an image can't be uploaded, Rodeo asks before importing without it.

Not on Notion?
Other imports
Confluence
Export a space as HTML and import the .zip. Pages keep their place in the page tree, and links between them still work.
Evernote
Export your notes as an .enex file and import it. Each note becomes a page, with its images.
A CSV file
Use Import CSV, next to the Import button in the sidebar, to turn a single spreadsheet into a database.
Questions
Switching, answered
How long does an import take?
It depends on the size of your export and how many images it has. Rodeo shows progress while it reads the file, so keep the tab open until it says it's done.
Can I import one page instead of my whole workspace?
Yes. Export just that page from Notion as Markdown & CSV and import the .zip the same way. Sub-pages included in the export come across under it.
Will my databases keep their columns?
Yes. Each CSV becomes a database, and its first column becomes the row title. Rodeo works out each column's type from its values: text, number, checkbox, select, multi-select or date.
What happens to links between my pages?
Links from one page to another in the export become page mentions in Rodeo, so they still take you to the right page.
What if some images don't import?
Images must be PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP and up to 10 MB. If some can't be uploaded, Rodeo tells you how many and asks whether to import everything else without them.
Do the people on my team have to pay?
Not to start. Free covers up to 3 members, with no card needed. Paid plans are billed per member each month.
