Privacy policy

The short version: we keep what we need to run Rodeo for you, nothing is sold or used for ads, and you can delete it all.

Who we are

Rodeo is run by Harmonics Technology Ltd (“we”). This policy covers rodeo.so, the Rodeo desktop apps and the Rodeo mobile apps. Questions go to hello@rodeo.so.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the account identifier they give us. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your email; we then only see Apple's relay address.

Your content: pages, databases, comments, files and images you add, and the workspace, sharing and membership settings around them.

Device details for the mobile app: a push token so we can send the notifications you've asked for, the platform and the app version.

Basic service data: sign-in times, the country your sign-in came from, and the server logs needed to run and secure the service.

We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.

How we use it

To run Rodeo: store and sync your workspace, show it to the people you share it with, send sign-in links, invitations and notifications, and keep accounts secure.

If you use AI features, the text you send to them is processed to produce the answer and isn't used to train models.

To bill paid plans, and to answer you when you contact us.

Who processes it for us

Microsoft Azure hosts the service and its database, and runs the AI features. Cloudflare R2 stores uploaded files. Expo, Apple and Google deliver push notifications to your phone. Paystack processes payments; we never see full card numbers. Tavily runs web searches when an AI feature needs one. Google and Apple handle sign-in when you choose them.

Each of them only gets what it needs to do that job.

Who can see your content

Members of a workspace see what that workspace's spaces and pages allow; guests only see the pages shared with them. Our staff don't read your content except to fix a problem you've reported or when the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting

You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account), in web Settings → Account, or at rodeo.so/account/delete. We remove your sign-in details, devices and personal settings straight away. Workspaces only you own are archived and permanently deleted, with their files, 30 days later. Comments and pages you wrote in workspaces shared with others stay for those people, shown as written by “Deleted user”.

Your rights

You can see, export, correct or delete your data at any time from the app, or ask us at hello@rodeo.so. If you're in the EU, UK or Nigeria you can also complain to your data-protection authority.

Children

Rodeo isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
